How to Play Sweet 16

Throughout the month of March, we will be holding a bracket challenge contest to find our very fan-favorite product! Each of our top 16 individual desserts and pastries will face off in “matches” all month-long, voted on by you — the fans!

We have put together a bracket of our Sweet 16 and for the next three weeks, we will hold daily matches via our Instagram Story, where you will have a chance to vote on which product you think is the fan-favorite.

Sweet 16: In-store BOGO!

But wait — what if you have yet to try the products competing, or simply need a taste refresher? Well, you’re in luck!

For each “match” day (and that day only!) we will offer the two competing products at buy one get one!

For example — our Tiramisu slice is competing against the Baba au Rum on Monday, March 8. For that day only and in-stores only, you can get our Tiramisu slice and Baba au Rum, BOGO!*

First, show your server or counter staff member that you are following Gourmandise on Instagram to qualify for the BOGO (@gourmandisethebakery).

You will receive a gold star dessert topper with your two desserts. Next, simply taste each dessert and decide which item is the fan-favorite! Use your gold star for an Instagram-worthy photo op (and get points for the Superfan award)!

Come back the next day for the next BOGO!

Sweet 16: Two Winners!

Winner #1 — Bracket Winner

The most accurately filled-out bracket wins the Bracket Winner category!

The Sweet 16 Bracket can be found in our story (hold and screenshot), physical copies can be picked up in-stores, or download below!

Send a photo of your complete bracket via Instagram Direct Message no later than Friday, March 5, 11:59 pm. 

Fill out your bracket according to what you think are the most-loved products by fans. Remember, this is based on customer votes — so your personal favorite product might not be the general customer favorite. 

Prizes:

• $50 Gourmandise gift card

• 1 free box of each of the Final 4 desserts

• Gourmandise swag! Hat, tote bag, coffee mug

In case of a tie, the customer with the most “Superfan points” (details on next page) wins!

Winner #2 — Superfan Winner

The participant with the most superfan points will win the Gourmandise Superfan category!

Point System:

• 1 point for an Instagram story feature. Remember that gold star photo op? (1 point maximum per match. Example: even if you post 12 stories highlighting the Kouign Amann vs. Marzipan slice match, you get 1 point)

• 3 points for an Instagram post feature (3 points maximum per match. Example: even if you post 8 pictures highlighting the Éclair vs. Butter Croissant match, you get 3 points)

• You must show our staff you are following Gourmandise on Instagram to qualify for BOGO!

Prizes:

• $50 Gourmandise gift card

• 1 free box of each of the Final 4 desserts

• Gourmandise swag! Hat, tote bag, coffee mug

In case of a tie, the customer with the most accurately completed bracket wins!
